There is a simple yet profound understanding about what makes humans tick that has the potential to transform every element of having a child, and being one.
Ages 6-10 can hold their own unique challenges – changing friendships, starting to assert their own preferences and individuality, sometimes losing confidence in their own abilities and seemingly having no respect at all for their elders – ie you!
Ages 10-13 can be tricky transitional years – moving schools, the onset of hormones, constantly being plugged into their devices, feeling a lack of confidence and self-doubt are all common experiences.
What if your kids could learn the fundamental principles behind happiness, confidence and resilience that allowed them to tap into the lightheartedness they were born with?
In a way that made sense to them?

Videos to Watch With your Kids
Seventeen bite-sized modules focussing on core themes, in a language your kids will understand, delivered over a 6-week period.
Based on the established SPARK curriculum*, these short videos will be delivered directly to you each week to sit down to share and discuss with your kids, and we can send them directly to your child as well if you wish.
No live calls, no embarrasing chats with adults, just open up a phone, tablet or computer and watch. Might as well put those devices to good use!
As a parent, you also have access to our LightHearted Facebook Group so you can ask questions and join the community of other parents all looking in this direction.
Sometimes we get sad, worried, angry or nervous and we don’t know what to do to handle the situation better. In this first module we’ll explore the link between how we think and how we feel. We’ll also talk about how to make better decisions so you feel better at school and at home.
Finding Your Inner Spark
Did you know there’s something built into you that always lets you know what to do? Something that’s yours and can never be broken or taken away from you? In this module we’ll get familiar with what that is and how to access it whenever you need it.
Nerves can often get the better of us and we can start worrying about going to school, taking part in clubs, doing our homework, getting ready for tests or just hanging out with friends. Here we’ll talk about useful ways to handle that and where confidence really comes from.
Moods and How to Handle Them
Sometimes you’re in a bad mood seemingly for absolutely no good reason at all. At those times, you probably get into fights with friends and parents and usually end up in trouble! What if there was a different way to be more successful at getting what you want?
Bullying from the Inside-Out
In this module we’ll talk about why bullies do what they do and how you can best handle it if they come your way. That inner spark we talk about on earlier modules? It’s impossible for bullies to damage that in any way and sometimes, that’s just good to know.
Academic Stress to Academic Success
We can often have thoughts that actually get in the way of us doing as well as we might be able to at school. In this final module we’ll learn how to be able to tackle any challenge in school calmly and take a look at how you can thrive to your full potential in the whole of your life.

That’s a pretty typical reaction! Some kids love to snuggle up and spend some ‘special time’ together watching the videos with you. But if they’re not into that, then YOU watch the videos. You’ll learn how to share this understanding in a way they understand, and you can just drop what you’ve learned into every day conversation with them.

Nicola Bird is a mother of three and an Advanced Transformational coach. Her own life was transformed from one of anxiety and stress to one where she experiences a light-heartedness and carefreeness she never knew was possible.
